Development of regenerating high-quality rare earth powder using domestically rare-earth permanent magnet (REPM) wastes as a source and establishing REPM recycling technology. It solves the industrial development problem of lacking rare earth mineral sources.

The efficient physical pretreatment and Hydrogenation-Disproportionation-Desorption-Recombination (HDDR) techniques are carried out to improve the magnetic properties of recycled rare earth permanent magnet powder to meet the specifications for industrial applications.
