全台塑膠包裝使用量驚人,估計每年可製造34萬噸多層複合包裝,盡數丟棄焚化,造成大量碳排成一大難題。為因應全球減碳議題,塑膠包裝回收開發成為顯學,因此工研院材料與化工研究所針對無法回收之多層複合包裝進行單一材質化技術開發。
Taiwan's plastic packaging consumption is staggering, estimated at 340,000 tons of annual multi-layer composites. This massive waste through incineration leads to significant carbon emissions. Driven by global carbon reduction initiatives, recyclable plastic packaging has become a critical research focus. Consequently, ITRI is developing single-material packaging solutions to replace currently unrecyclable multi-layer composites.
